Our Free Yarn Discovery Tour Crochet Pattern
Laceleaf Cowl designed by Haley Handcrafted
This lovely crochet pattern was designed just for The Artful Yarn for this year's Yarn Discovery Tour. It's an 8-row pattern repeat that uses single and half-double crochet. It's construction might build some new skills for you depending on your crochet experience.
We are planning a class for this project later in the Fall.
Haley is a crochet designer based near Cleveland, Ohio. She mixes vintage inspiration with a modern eye to create one of a kind crochet designs. Designs include accessories, home decor, and size inclusive, made to measure garments. Her love for using basic crochet stitches in unique ways inspired the Laceleaf Cowl. The textured stitching used in this cowl give it warmth and comfort, while the open stitches give it drape and wearability. Haley says, “Patterns give recipe style directions on how to make the piece to your specific measurements for a perfect fit, no matter what your size may be.”
Haley lives in Hudson, Ohio with her husband, two kids, and their dog Freddie Mercury. You can follow Haley Handcrafted on Instagram to enjoy a peek behind the scenes and a dose of handmade charm with a personal touch.
Yarn: Uses 2 skeins of Spun Right Round (245 yards DK weight yarn)
Hook: US Size G+ or 4.5mm Hook (It is recommended that you choose a hook using the metric size given)
