All-Day Class
|
Class Level: Advanced Beginner
Must know knitting basics cast-on, knit, purl & bind-off Knitting in the round This will be an all-day class. We will start with a discussion of how to choose the correct fit, why gauge is important, and read through the pattern to understand its construction. Then we will learn to knit a swatch in the round, not flat (with the long floats), while we are following the pattern for the increase for the shoulder. You will put stitches on a holder, cast on new stitches, and pick up stitches for the arm. This will be used as our swatch for gauge at the end. Participants in this all-day session are encouraged to come back to the shop as often as they would like for assistance on their project going forward. Instructor Tiffany Perry |
