Log Cabin How-To (virtual class only)
Thursday, July 30
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Log cabin knitting is a traditional pattern that involves creating a main, center square, and then building upon the center by knitting additional rectangles to each side of the square. You may be familiar with its fabric cousin, the Log Cabin Quilt.
If ever there was a stashbuster, Log Cabin blankets, pillows and throws are perfect for knitting right now. You can use any weight yarn and the mix of color combos makes for a wonderful, eclectic and colorful project. Very satisfying!
Our virtual class shares how to build your pattern, how to pick up the stitches as you work around your piece along with a couple of tricks and tips for a more finished look.
Participants will receive an email the week of class with a supply list, quick homework to be ready for class, our how-to hand-out and Zoom coordinates for joining the class.
