2021 Yarn Club; North Main Series (pick-up only option) SOLD OUT
NEW! North Main Series
August 2021 through December 2021
During the Great Depression of the 1930s, the federal government created the Works Projects Administration (W.P.A.) to provide jobs for out-of-work Americans. The W.P.A. undertook many infrastructure projects, such as building roads, schools, dams, bridges, and hospitals, but it also funded many fine arts programs that employed writers, musicians, painters, sculptors, actors and a variety of other artists. The W.P.A. worked on several projects in Chagrin Falls including a handsome stone wall bordered North Main Street. And the W.P.A literally "paved the way" for the creation of a Chagrin Falls Halloween tradition, the Pumpkin Roll, when they built the retaining wall and paved Grove Hill in 1938.
This series features yarn from local hand-dyer, Michelle Reid, founder of Bewitched Pigments. Bewitched Pigments is a mother-daughter collaboration brought about from a deep love of color and fiber. They are well-known throughout the region for their crisp and breath-taking color work.
Bewitched Pigments will be working with us to select beautiful colors just for the North Main Series. One month you'll receive a bewitching fingering, another month a beguiling DK and one month an enchanting worsted. A nice sampler of Bewitched Pigments yarn!
Each package includes amazing yarn, a printed pattern and a couple of awesome, little thank you gifts from us!
