Beginning Darning, Reweaving & Repair for Knits: An Online Class with Jennifer Raymond
Saturday, March 20
10:30 AM - 12 noon
Puppy chewed on your favorite sweater, scarf, socks, blanket? What can you do to fix it?!
Join Jennifer Raymond, nationally-known knit and crochet instructor and darning guru, as she covers the basics of reinforcing and darning your knits. Then, we’ll open things up to a Q&A. Bring your items to brainstorm fix-it solutions.
Skills Needed: Need to be able to knit and purl, increase and decrease and read a pattern. It is helpful to have some familiarity with Duplicate stitch or the Kitchener stitch.
Skills covered: Preventing holes in knits from happening, identifying thin areas before they become holes, reinforcing knits with duplicate stitch, reweaving small holes in stockinette.
This is an online zoom class. Zoom link will be sent to all paid participants 1-2 days before the class.
