New Years Eve KAL: Woodland Loafers
Begins Monday, December 29 with our free online orientation
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Free online class
Every year our shop hosts a fun tradition to celebrate the New Year! We learned about this idea from a group of UK knitters who start a pair of socks every New Year's Eve. We have chosen different projects each year. This New Year's Eve we're hoping you'll join us in starting a pair of Woodland Loafers, quick, awesome slippers! We're using Universal's Deluxe Chunky for these. You'll need to stop by and choose your favorite color of this wonderful Peruvian wool yarn as well as a copy of the entire supply list.
We'll kick-off the project Wednesday, December 29, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM, with a free online how-to discussion of the pattern and various techniques led by Bonnie Wolfe. Then grab your yarn and needles then start on December 31st! We know you're going to be watching the ball drop and other New Year's festivities and this can be a new one! Share your cast-on on social media!
More info and Zoom link to come! Hope you'll join us for this fun shop tradition! The Woodland Loafesr are cozy little hugs for your feet and they are also super quick to knit. For boot-style slippers check out the new Woodland Warmers.
