Learn to knit with two colors! A very fun skill to know and we love how it's showcased in this free Ravelry pattern Dreams of Spring Hat created by NEO local designer and yarn hand-dyer, Jeanne Stevenson.
Let's be honest, cold weather hangs around our area well into April. This hat is awesome looking and also warm! Prerequisites: Must know how, and be comfortable with, knitting in the round. Must know knitting basics, how to join and knit in the round.

We're suggesting 2 contrasting colors of Malabrigo Rios or Blue Sky Woolstok worsted on a 16" US Size 7 circular needle (or size to get gauge.) Also grab 4 stitch markers - 1 a different color.
Homework: Cast on and knit the hat brim prior to class
