Sprays of slipped stitches suggest a Venus fly trap, but on the reverse becomes more abstract and more mysterious. Either way, there’s a distinctly organic, almost vegetal impression to the crown, a highlight of this design by Woolly Wormhead.
Variegated yarns will look their best in this Hat, with the elongated stitches allowing each nuance of the changing colors to shine. Choose a solid contrast shade or go dippy with two wild colorways playing against each other.
Class Level: Intermediate
This hat is worked flat sideways. You will learn provisional cast on, short rows, special dipped stitch, and Kitchener stitch.
