Maybe you've just recently learned to knit. Maybe you want to start knitting something other than scarves. Maybe you want to get back into knitting after a few years. Building Blocks builds your knitting skills and confidence!
Learn to knit 12 different squares learning over 12 foundation stitches and techniques found in most all knitted projects. Skills include basic increases & decreases, yarn overs, cables, bobbles, seaming and so much more. Knit a beautiful blanket by the summer! Really!
Meets once a month for 7 months beginning Friday, February 20 and meets the 3rd Friday of every month after that through August 2026. Students require yarn, needles, the Building Blocks pattern book which includes links to free online video tutorials, additional notions and more. This how-to course created by Michelle Hunter, includes 14 hours of instruction and free drop-in's for any help along the way. Choose your machine-washable yarn from over 30 color choices. Deadline for paid registration and yarn orders is Saturday, February 7.
