New year! New technique! Designers at Tin Can Knits inspire us to get into Fair Isle knitting. You'll learn to manage several colors at once in your knitting and then you can jump into creating your own designs using the popular Doodle Deck series! Must be comfortable knitting in the round.

Homework: Cast-on and knit the brim of your chosen hat size plus the first 3 rounds of the body. Come to class ready to start the colorwork.
What to know: Clayoquot Sound is located on the west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia. First Nations have inhabited the area for thousands of years. In Canada, "toque" is also the common term for a knitted winter cap, which is often called a beanie in the United States.
