The Artful Yarn continues to follow CDC recommendations that everyone wear masks indoors. We also continue to provide hand sanitizer or you can wash hands when you enter the shop.
You and our staff are at the center of everything we do. Our shop's core values informed our decision-making as we entered the pandemic last year and will continue to inform our approach going forward. If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected] or call the shop directly.
What Else We Do:
>We continue to provide curbside pick-up. Just call us to make that happen. We wear masks and hand sanitize prior to coming to your car.
>We recognize that some of you might prefer to enter the shop when fewer people might be shopping with us. If you would like to make a shopping appointment between 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM, please call or email us to schedule that appointment at no charge.
>For the time being, The Artful Yarn continues to require handwashing/hand-sanitizing by staff and customers.
>The Artful Yarn will continue to clean and sanitize frequently used surfaces throughout the day.
>The Artful Yarn does not yet accept product returns at this time.
>The Artful Yarn will continue our highly successful, online classes. In-person classes will be limited to 6 participants and require masking and social distancing. Fix It Fridays, our in-person help service, is held on most Fridays, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM, when quick help any day of the week is not enough to fully resolve your issue.
It is our hope that these continuing precautions demonstrate our commitment to your health, safety and enjoyment of shopping at The Artful Yarn. All of these precautions are subject to change based on shifts in the pandemic trajectory as well as recommendations from the CDC. As always if you have any questions or concerns, please call or email Cathy Hougan, shop owner.
We are a community of fiber friends! We love you, our customers and staff and value your patronage more than we can say. We are working to take the steps necessary to keep everyone safe and comfortable. If you have further questions about COVID-19, please refer to the CDC's website at www.cdc.gov/
