Pattern Options
You can choose to participate in the Block of the Month project, where we’ll be playing with new stitches each month. These blocks can be sewn together to create a blanket at the end of the year. Once a block is released it will be available for the remainder of the year allowing crafters to commit to the year and work all 12 square designs or choose which square you like the best.

Single Skein Patterns: Current club members will have year-long access to an ever-changing pattern library of one-skein patterns if you're not sure about doing the blocks of the month. Check out the QR code inside the yarn wrapper for info on these patterns that will be lovely with your Yarn of The Month color.

Pictured about top to bottom as an example: February's knit Block of the Month called Love-ly and the crochet block is called Miss Price. So delightfully fun, right?!

September Color of the Month:
Thrushcross Grange

Our book inspiration this month is Wuthering Heights, by Emily Bronte. The color is Thrushcross Grange, one the mansions that impacts main characters, Heathcliff and Cathy's, budding love story.

Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights (1847) is a romance novel that depicts the female romantic fantasy of being a woman who is loved by two men, with each of these men representing ideal types that can be found in romantic literature. It was controversial at its time for its depictions of mental and physical cruelty, including domestic abuse, and for its challenges to Victorian morality, religion, and the class system.

Wuthering Heights represents human nature at its darkest. It represents the fatal and selfish side of love. It's a very accurate depiction of how selfish love can get. Cathy and Heathcliff's love is fatal not only to them, but also to everyone around them. We recommend watching the 1939 film classic starring Sir Laurence Olivier and Merle Oberon on a colder, darker evening this Fall.

August Color of the Month: Plumfield
You’re invited to join Wonderland Yarns as they create a Tour of The Season venturing into society at well-known literary country manors, city estates, masked ballrooms — and maybe even a garden party or two. This year they have selected a set of 12 lush tones that you’d find in and around parties and ballrooms and forms a lovely, cohesive palette for the year! Think Jane Austen and even Bridgerton! Tiaras optional!

Our August Color of the Month, Plumfield, immerses us in the world of Little Women, by Louisa May Alcott. Join us for Meg's and Mr. Brook's wedding, won't you? Did you read Little Women years ago? You'll be surprised how relevant it is now as it was 150 years ago!
