Tour of The Season April Color of The Month: Vanity Fair
Amelia Sedley, of good family, and Rebecca Sharp, an orphan, leave Miss Pinkerton's academy on Chiswick Mall to live out their lives in Vanity Fair — the world of social climbing and search for wealth. Amelia does not esteem the values of Vanity Fair; Rebecca cares for nothing else. Vanity Fair written by William Makepeace Thackeray is sometimes considered the "principal founder" of the Victorian domestic novel.
This month's color is a lovely blend of subtle greens. The stitch markers featured the book cover and a handheld fan, a must for ladies of the era. Join us for a lovely party honoring the officers attached to the Duke of Wellington hosted by the Duke and Duchess of Richmond and pick up a skein yourself. Each month check out the download code for pretty knit or crochet block patterns or visit Wonderland Yarns for other dreamy one-skein projects.
The featured yarn is Mad Hatter, a pretty sport weight yarn with 344 yards of the softest merino. The next great color in the Tour of the Season palette is in-stock right now. Plus we stock 3 semi-solid coordinating colorways to use with our Tour of The Season Colors of the Month.
Wonderland Yarns is providing stunning single-skein patterns or join the block of the month yearlong party that explores different stitches and techniques PLUS there are fun freebies involved and that's always awesome! More info will be posted on social media and our website page for The Tour of The Season.
